I started out with no plan in mind at all with this piece. I knew I wanted to wire wrap small semi-precious gemstones into a chain, but that was the only plan I had. It's a fun way to make jewelry!

The wire wrap chain is made of rose quartz, labradorite, moss aqua, mother of pearl, citrine, smoky quartz, fluorite, green amethyst, garnet, aquamarice and more! It's colorful, lightweight and fun. To it, I've added a gorgeous victorian bird head I've had cast because I just couldn't live with only one. Then I added some hand-dyed silk ribbon to the bird. These can be removed, trimmed, replaced and left alone. Or, if you have specific colors you'd like, I'll be happy to switch these.

Then I made another chain of sterling links. To that I added an old sterling Notre Dame medal then some square crystal quartz beads. Both chains connect together in the back. The clasp is a sterling rosebud hook and ring.

The longer strand of this necklace measures 21 1/2 inches. The shorter strand is 18 inches long.

Thank you!
