Piltdownlad is a personal narrative zine. Each issue is centered around an autobiographical story. In this issue it's "The Detour Guide," which continues the story from issue #2, "Women Got Me Drinking." So there are more French Quarter shenanigans, interactions with gutterpunks and tourists, as well as a failed attempt at romance. Illustrated by the wonderful artist Nick Knudson. An excursus to the story is a short confession about my time in foster care. Also in this issue is a travelogue about a road trip to New Orleans, a piece called "Gettin' Lost Downtown," which details my attempt to start a t-shirt business with a street person in Downtown LA, some zine reviews and a "Letters and Comments" section that focuses on previous issues of Piltdownlad and the papernet.

Typewritten and photocopied.
Half-size (5.5" x 8.5")
64 pages

Two covers:
1. Punk dude smoking on metallic blue text stock.
