Having a nautical wedding near Beaufort, South Carolina? Maybe you have a beach house on Ladys Island or somewhere nearby on Port Royal Island? This One-of-a-kind nautical chart guestbook would br perfect for it! This book shows Beaufort and Port Royal front and center, and on the back is St. Helen Sound, and Morgan Island. When I say one of a kind, I mean it! I don't have any other charts of South Carolina right now, so when this one sells, that's it!

**Unfortunately I'm unable to accommodate custom requests at this time, so what you see here is what's in stock**

I stitched this 7"x9" (7"x18" when opened) hardcover guest book together by hand (check out this post http://www.ruthbleakley.com/blog/?p=816) and it is filled with 36 pages (72 sides, front and back) of creamy 90 lb drawing paper. It has just enough space for guest's names and messages without being HUGE and half empty at the end of your event. The pages are blank so that people can leave a message and not just their names.

The paper shows creases and penciled in notes from the fisherman who used this chart, which is really charming - and the hand-set brass grommets really tie everything together. The book is hand-sewn with a coptic stitch, a type of braided binding that I did with blue waxed Irish Linen thread, which is really strong. I take care to use long-lasting acid free and archival materials whenever possible so your book will last a long time.

This guestbook is one of a kind, it's made from an original nautical chart (from 1986) it would be a lovely gift - or maybe you'd like to just keep it for yourself?
