She is listed in the Disney cast of characters simply as the "Evil Queen" and perhaps such an iconic figure needs no better title than that. . . .

The detailing in this costume is eye-catching. The black cape shimmers with iridescence, or maybe that is really magic. Rich faux fur lines the front vaulting into a stiffened felt high collar that frames the face. Hair is hidden under a pointed brow wimple of the same black fabric as the cape. A crown made of sparkle tulle and gold lame is embellished at each point with a many faceted gold bead that catches the light.

An ornate OOAK clasp matches the beading on the crown. The cape is made of a flowy filmy fabric that moves with elegance and has a surprise on the inside - red holographic flames to accentuate the fact that this is indeed the evil queen. Either that or your young one just happens to like sparkly red stuff!

The cape is slightly translucent, especially when opened up, and displays the bat-wing princess seaming that is unique to this garment. The wimple has a short zipper in the back of the neck allowing larger head sizes to wear it (I have seen an adult put it on). The cape length is 42 inches from the back of the neck to the base. It can be trimmed shorter if needed.

The costume itself is very lightweight. If you have a little girl who enjoys being "the bad guy" she will love this costume.

This costume was a prototype for me, and as such I feel there are a few issue that the buyer should be aware of. The biggest one is that the crown was made on a heavy paper base, and is susceptible to creasing, especially during the mailing process. It has been stored flat here and I have found that a hot steam bathroom followed by drying in place on a head usually solves this to a limited extent. That's really the biggest problem - were I to make this cape again I would definitely use some type of stiffened felt or nylon screening as a base instead.

Due to this the costume is listed at 50 dollars instead of 70.
The blue dress is not included in this listing. The listing includes the cape, the wimple, and the crown.
