This impressive blue milk glass footed bowl is decorated with an elaborate scrolled design. The soft blue color is hard to find in this pattern--Imperial Glass made it for only a short time in the 1950s and ‘60s (there is also a version with a hexagonal bowl).

Measures 8 inches high, 8 1/4 inches diameter across the bowl. Unmarked.

Overall condition is good, with no chips or repairs. There are some annealing lines in the underside of the foot--these are small cracks visible only on the underside, they do not penetrate through the glass. Some variation on the color throughout--you can see how blue and white glass were swirled together in the making of the piece. There are a few tiny dark inclusions in the glass.
