This cravat is soft and drapey, made of a vintage rayon fabric that came intentionally distressed: it has crinkles and a surface texture, a style that used to be called "sandwashed." It has a weave like faille but is lightweight like broadcloth.

It measures 63" from tip to tip, and 4" wide. Cravats of this length will go around a man's neck twice before tying a knot or bow, a style most popular in the time of Jane Austen but that endured for centuries. I recommend this length for necks 15-17 inches in circumference. For your reference the mannequin in the pictures has a 15.5" neck.

Hand wash, hang dry, iron with steam.
Please choose carefully as there are no returns on neckwear.

The waistcoat pictured is available for sale in a seperate listing. You will find it, and many other dapper items, here in my shop
