This is quite a unique example of the Catalina Clay Products Company.

It was made right here off the coast of Southern California in the quaint town of Avalon on the island of Catalina.

The kilns that were once used back in the 20's and 30's to make the red clay tile roofs of the William Wrigley family homes were later turned over to the local artisans. Wrigley, famous for his chewing gum, was the owner of the island back in the 1920's and 1930's and felt the need to make keepsakes available for those who traveled over to the island from the local Southern California ports.

These same ceramic artisans are locally renowned for the tiles they created for the magnificent casino on the island that was host to many of the Big Band era stars. In fact, our parents (now in their late 80's) have fond memories of sailing over to the island on the great white streamer and dancing to night away.

We've not been able to locate any piece quite so brilliant and lustrous. The Autumn rust color is deep and shines as if it was just pulled from the kilns.

Add this fine piece of "California Revival" pottery to your collection and bring a bit of our sunshine to your home or office.

Measurements: approximately 7" tall and about 7.5" in diameter at the base.

Condition: Very good condition.

We're adding a bit more for shipping to accommodate for extra safe packaging and shipment.
