What is an interrobang? It is a combination punctuation mark of the "!" and "?" marks invented by Martin K. Speckter in 1962. It was even available on some Remington typewriters in the late 1960's. Really nothing more than a fad. To me, it says "wtf!?" in a nice way :0)

The key is an authentic antique typewriter key set in a silver plated vintage style wrap mounting. The print of the interrobang symbol is carefully inserted underneath the glass. Finished with solid sterling silver french ear wires.

These earrings should not be worn in water. Since this is a glass covered key, water may seep into the key and can damage the image. Some water splashing on it will not hurt it ~ just don't swim or shower with them on. I have coated with image to protect it so it will last for years to come!

All keys are meticulously cleaned and polished. Please remember the keys are old, and the age only adds to the uniqueness of the jewelry. I do not cut up machines that are in good working order.

I am one of the original designers of typewriter key jewelry! Originally tested by my 2 year old throwing it on our ceramic tile floor. He is now 11 ☺
