These vintage glass bottles were discovered in a country ravine on a curiosity-finding expedition last fall. In the "olden days," before modern waste management practices infiltrated to rural areas, farmers would dispose of various household waste in this ravine, where a number of glass and ceramic pieces were miraculously left unbroken for us to find, many decades later!

The feathers, from left to right, are from pheasant, duck, and turkey. The bottles have been washed and sanitized, but they retain their aged patina. We think these would look especially lovely glinting on a sunny windowsill, or lined up with the rest of your curiosities!
