Well, I love little gadgets too so I had to have this.I recently got some information from someone who used this in her work, that it is still used today in her hematology lab today. They are for doing white blood cell differentials. I would say that this was made in the 50's or 60's. This has wonderful patina and works well. Notice though it does have some rust and scratches and wear. This would be a great item for a young child learning to count with math manipulatives. Each button pushed will add to the top numbers above it and then cumulatively at the far right numbers. To clear out simply turn the red handle till all numbers come to 000. Each time you turn the handle to the next number to clear out it dings with a bell. The right handle is missing but does not affect the use of this wonderful little tabulator! You can see the bell on the right side where the handle is missing. This measures about 8 1/2" by about 3" by about 1 7/8" tall. I have a lot more photos of this and a video.
