This blue and green wood fish is the perfect piece of Mississippi folk art to bring color and whimsy to your walls. I handpainted it with professional acrylics. My husband made it from cypress wood he salvaged from the Mississippi Delta. Great gift for guys or girls, for a housewarming or baby shower, or a happy present for yourself.

Hang this fish anywhere--in the office, dining room, kitchen, kids’ rooms, over doorways and stairways, in bathrooms and bedrooms, covered porches, lakehouses, or wherever you’d like a pop of color and whimsy. One is great. Groupings are even better. Check here for other fish: http://www.etsy.com/shop/TaylorArts?section_id=7670153

Special Features: This blue and green fish is over two feet long. He has a blue eye and green lips. His fins and tail are dark green with white and bluish stripes. He's made from relatively smooth reclaimed barnwood. He'll either hang on a wall or sit flat on a shelf. I painted the sides to create a multi-dimensional effect. A real catch. Ready to ship.

Dimensions: 28 inches long by 9.5 inches tall by 2 inches thick. Weighs 6 pounds.

On the back: Marc nailed a notched metal hanger over an inletted drilled circle, so the fish will hang flush to the wall and will balance from a single nail or screw head. You can see the salvaged wood on back. My signature, Christine Schultz, is there, as well.

Care and handling: While these fish are fun and durable, they’re not meant as playthings for kids or to hold up outside directly in the weather, (although a covered porch is fine). We're happy to custom make fish. Just ask.

Shipping: As soon as we receive payment, we carefully handwrap and package your fish in recycled materials. We ship insured via FedEx. We're also happy to ship outside the U.S. Just convo us for details. If you're in the Memphis or North Mississippi area, stop by Taylor Arts gallery and save on shipping altogether. See our shop policies for more info.
