This sticker is a tribute to the famous grizzly bear 399 who was tragically struck by a car in Oct 2024. She lived in and around Grand Teton National Park with her many cubs. Here are some fun facts about her :
- 399 was 28 years old
- She was known for having triplets, but also had quadruplets
- She was smart enough to live near the roads in Grand Teton where the larger male bears steer clear. This is why she's been so successful in keeping her cubs safe and alive for so long.
- She is 7 ft tall when standing on her back legs and weighs about 400 lbs.
- she truly is famous as she is known around the world!
If you were lucky enough to get to see 399 and her four cubs, it really was an amazing sight to see.
