Meet Dingleberry!

Dingleberry is a real preserved SHARK FETUS with his yolk sac still attached!! Some sharks are what they call "viviparous" and give birth to live young. These sharks have eggs that hatch inside of the mother and the babies are fed by the yolk sac that is attached to them! This little guy still has his yolk sac attached!!! I've never seen another specimen like this offered for sale, and it is a "MUST HAVE" for any shark lover or collector of oddities!

I was poking around in a dead shark (I thought it was appropriate, being Shark Week and all) trying to learn more about the anatomy of a shark when I came across this hard odd-shaped "organ" inside. I didn't know what it was, so I cut into it and...HOLY CRAP! SHARK FETUSES!!! I thought I was the luckiest girl in the world!

Dingleberry comes in a glass jar that stands about 5 inches tall and 3 inches wide. He is chillin up in his jar with his yolk sac and looks pretty comfy! His beautiful sharky skin is a gorgeous gray with tiny white dots, he has black-tipped fins and a goofy shark smile! How could anyone resist this guy??!?!

This item will be shipped WITHOUT liquid preservative due to shipping regulations, but will be secured in the jar with bubble wrap to protect it. You will have to add your own preservative (holding solution) to the jar when it arrives in the mail. Rubbing alcohol will work just fine as a holding solution since it has already been preserved, and can be found at your local drug store or Walmart. I will help you with any questions you may have about what to do when it arrives, so just ask me!

Upon request, I will provide a pair of latex gloves and a square absorbent pad to unpack your specimen on, so you don't have to have a dead something-or-other laying on your kitchen table or where ever you decide to unpack it. The pad is nothing special, just a dog "WeeWee Pad" that is absorbent on one side and waterproof to protect the surface on the other side.
