This is the first book written by Thoreau. It is an account of a trip he and his brother took. It includes 48 original poems and three hundred quotations. The book was copyrighted in 1975 and was from The Heritage, a book club. It also has a green slipcase and an insert from the book club with additional info on the book. The spine is a bit faded and the gold on the "rr" in Merrimack is worn. The rest of the book is in excellent condition. This is from an estate that had hundreds of well kept and organized books filling 3 rooms. Perfect for your library!
