I turned this vase on the potter's wheel with recycled porcelain clay.

7 inches tall by 7.25 inches diameter.

I dipped it in three glazes. The dark brown was made entirely from a local clay I got from a construction site. When dipping into this slip glaze, I held my hand firmly on one side of the pot and just finger tips on the other, leaving hand marks without dark glaze. Then I dipped it once in an emerald green glaze, and dipped the rim in a variegated green glaze.

A simple and elegant vase that is not trying to hide its handmade origins.
