This is such a great little suitcase. The lady I got it from said she is 60 years old, and she remembers her grandmother using it, which dates it vintage 1940s. It measures 15" long, 12" high, and 6" deep. The locks, hinges, and handle are solid - unfortunately, there is no key for the locks. It has a bone-colored hardshell and burgundy leather trim. The inside is burgundy fabric with pockets along the sides. There are a few stains and a piece of masking tape that is now permanent, but there are no tears. Overall, this suitcase is in amazing condition for being in use for 70 years. I love finding a little piece of Pacific Northwest History!

*******Skyway Luggage Company was founded in 1910 as the Seattle Suitcase Trunk and Bag Manufacturing Company by the Lithuanian immigrant A.J. Kotkins. Our original brand name was "Bulldog" and our logo featured a bulldog with a satchel in its mouth. "Luggage that holds like a bulldog" was the motto. Shortly after our company was founded, Bill Boeing founded his airplane company, also in Seattle. Inspired by the promise and romance of air travel, in the 1930's the company added a product line of what was then called "hand luggage" (as opposed to steamer trunks) and called it "Sky Way..... styled for the Sky."*********
