I sketched these 3 planes at the Seattle Museum of Flight.
The bright yellow colored plane is Bowers Flybaby 1A. Check it out here: http://www.museumofflight.org/aircraft/bowers-flybaby-1a
The orange-tipped plane with the sleek contours is the Northrop YF-5A. Read more about it here: http://www.museumofflight.org/aircraft/northrop-yf-5a-n-156f-freedom-fighter
And the plane with the parchment-like wings is the Rumpler Taube, and you can read more about it here: http://www.museumofflight.org/aircraft/rumpler-taube-dove-reproduction
Looking for a different size? I have them. Here is a listing for a set of 5x7 sized prints:
This is set of 3 prints of my original sketches done with watercolor, pen and ink. The prints are designed to fit standard frames and are printed on Archival Fine Art Paper. Each print is signed and carefully packed and shipped. A great set of prints to hang in a study or in a child's room. For a larger, custom size, convo me. I can also create custom sketches of your favorite planes.
Lots more plane and car sketches here:
All my sketches are done on-site, from direct observation. The prints you will receive are high-resolution scans of the original and will show their natural imperfections (the blot of an inked-in line, a faintly drawn pencil sketch under the watercolor), all integral to the process.
