This pillow cover is made from a King Midas Flour sack. The fabric is cotton in off-white and has lightly printed blue lettering on it. The letters read:

The highest priced flour in America and worth all it costs. Reg. U.S. Patent Office, Bleached, 49 Lbs, Net 1.4 Bbl.

At the bottom of the pillow cover is dabs of yellow which is actually very faded lettering that I cannot read. You can see it in pic 4.

I sewed a small handmade vintage round of lace near the bottom of the cover to add a feminine touch.

I backed the cover with another piece of feedsack which has some lettering on it as well (shown in the last pic).

When I use feedsack, I always use as much of it as I can. I usually include flaws like stains (if not too bad) and mended tears. I also include small holes. The flour sack made to make this particular cover does have some light smudges and stains. The feedsack used as the backing has quite a few stains as well.

This listing is for the pillow cover only. You will need a 14" insert.
