Fire Tulips is a colorway that I keep coming back to. The combination of bright purple, hot pink, fiery red and fluorescent orange always warms me up. I carded up a blend of Falkland wool with a generous streaking of bamboo, then dizzed the roving off of the carder by hand. If you have never spun a dizzed roving before, you are in for a real treat! Dizzed rovings practically draft themselves, and the carded prep will spin up into a delightfully fluffy, springy yarn. Due to the hand prepped nature of this roving, the strip is not completely uniform.

Fiber Content: Falkland, bamboo
Weight: 2+ ounces

The fibers used in this roving are hand dyed using professional acid dyes, which have been heat set for colorfastness. Though special care is taken to make sure the dye is fully exhausted, there may be a bit of color bleed on the first washing of items made with this fiber. This fiber is not superwash and will felt if handled harshly. Gently hand wash cold and lay flat to dry.

All Things Liz Makes items ship within one business day of confirmed payment. The roving will be shipped in a crocheted chain braid to prevent rubbing during shipping and conserve packaging. Shipping is pre-determined based on weight. If there is $1 or more difference in the cost of shipping your item, the difference will be refunded via Paypal or Etsy Direct Checkout.
