Vintage blue faded quilted gift tags primitive patriotic handmade cutter quilt hang tags place cards prim name tags tie ons journaling tags bookmarks everyday all occasion set of six(6) created by ITS YOUR COUNTRY TM

Your gift tag will be the talk of the party, when you use these original handmade gift tags. These have a patriotic Americana charm.

This set of gift tags are a faded solid blue; reminds me of a denim chambray shirt in color. They are cut from the border and sashing of the quilt. Each tag has a red button button tied on with royal blue embroidery floss and has a coordinating light blue embroidery floss string tie on.The seams and quilting on these tags are subtle yet tell an interesting tale of days gone by.

These gift tags are made from an old vintage feedsack quilt that has been well loved and used and was beyond wear of its original intended use. This quilt was machine pieced and machine quilted around the 1940's. I have upcycled this cutter quilt to make available to you some new, fun, primitive and shabby gift tags that measure approx. 2 3/4" long x 1 1/2" wide.

The quilted gift tags are three layers; patchwork quilt front, batting and a backing, just like a quilt and each has one button hand-stitched on with embroidery floss. The quilted front is adhered to a paper shipping tag for the backing for writing your sentiment and is machine stitched around the outside edge; the quilt edge is left raw and unfinished to give a primitive look. Embroidery floss is added as a string for the tie ons. These vintage, fun and nostalgic tags allow a piece of the past to live on.

These quilted gift tags/hang tags are nice everyday all occasion gift tags or tie ons, can be a special keepsake, use in scrapbooking for journaling, or once used as a gift tag, you can add to your scrapbook to save a loved one's handwriting and message to you or your child, use for labeling and organizing. Just use your imagination for other endless possibilities.

These are newly created gift tags/tie ons from a repurposed vintage cutter quilt. Keep in mind that the gift tags have a shabby vintage look and are cut from a previously used cutter quilt and there may be some imperfections such as fabric fading, thinning, loose threads in the seams, areas where batting may show through, spots, stains or small holes that add to the primitive beauty and charm of the item.
