I found this sweet little mirror at an estate sale. The previous owner traveled there during the 40's and 50's and had a great interest in Japan. I'm guessing she brought this mirror back with her from one of her trips to Japan.

DESCRIPTION:
Vintage 50's japanese hand-painted lacquered wall mirror. This unique little mirror has a decorative, painted landscape surrounding a small oval mirror at center. An added feature is the elegant double rack at bottom, for hanging a finger-tip towel or your jewelry. Delicate gold tassels decorate each end of the rods.

Ready to hang with original hanging cord already attached.
Black painted back, with "made in Japan" painted at bottom.

DIMENSIONS:
Mirror frame measures approximately 12" wide X 8.75" X .1/4" deep
Mirror at center is 4" X 2.5"
Towel rods are 8.5" wide.

CONDITION:
Very good vintage condition. Very light wear if any. No damage. Slight oxidation on metal towel rod.
