Mon Guide En Broderie, French Embroidery Pattern Magazines X 4 Circa 1912 / 1913

IMPORTANT NOTICE.
I am on holiday until around the 16th October. You may purchase an item but I will not be able to post it until I return. If you do buy an item I would prefer you not to pay until I am able to post it.

4 French embroidery magazines which date from 1912/1913

Each one is a different issue.

These magazines were intended for professional use for monogramming a brides trousseau, monogramming linen and other personal items is an old French tradition.

The magazine takes the form of a one large piece of paper folded. Folded they measure approx 12 by 28 inches approx when folded.

These magazines contain primarily different styles of initials for monogramming linen items. They also include small embroidery projects such as babies bibs, One may need to be an accomplished needlewoman to make some of the items as they look very intricate, if you like a challenge then these may be for you.

As we are dealing with very old paper they have some slight damage such as split folds and foxing and yellowing of the pages.

Original papers, being unique for any craft project such as decoupage.
