Hand painted rock brings back the old south Florida homes from the early 1900s. Pale yellow clapboard with blue shutters and decorative gingerbread trim. Would look great nestled in a palm fern in the corner of your patio. Rock measures 3 1/4" high and 3 1/2" wide.

**Why Rocks?**
Why not clay or wood houses?
• Rocks are natural. They look right with a plant.
• Rocks are sturdy. They won’t break during shipping.
• Rocks come in interesting shapes. Rocks sit on my studio shelf until a house type will eventually show itself and then it gets painted.
• Rocks are fun to collect. I can travel and hike and consider it “working”. It’s more fun than ordering supplies. However the collection process takes a lot longer than ordering supplies. The hunt is long for a rock that is the correct size and flat on the bottom with some sort of roof shape on top. Your rock is hand selected as well as hand painted.

**About the shop**
I cannot stand to be cooped up in an office all day. I must be outside rain or shine in nature or city streets. Lately I’ve been bringing plants indoors for container gardens. Plants give off oxygen and clean the air. They lower blood pressure and stress when caring for them. Garden shows and internet photos show fairy gardens and miniature landscapes which combine all my interests of nature, serenity, dollhouse miniatures, and historic architecture. Check out my blog for instructions and ideas for making your own fairy gardens and miniature landscapes. http://smallscape.wordpress.com/

**Collections**
Dwelling types currently fall into 3 categories…
• Fantasy –gnome homes and whimsical dwellings for creating fairy gardens.
• Oasis – vacation get-a-ways, cabins, and beach houses for creating mini mental vacations for stress relief.
• Historic – old fashioned and Victorian era for creating a trip into the past.

**Who’s it for?**
These hand painted rock dwellings are only for men, women and teens that love the adventure of walking through nature in hopes of stumbling across a secret garden or forgotten dwelling. Tuck one of these buildings into your potted plant and add pebble pathways, stick fences or rocks for mountains and you will feel the same awe of discovery every day. Not a plant person? They also look great tucked into a bookshelf or displayed on a desk.

**Custom Orders**
Have a special dwelling in mind? Want one to look like your own home? Contact me with photos and I can make one just for you.
Or maybe you have a special rock that you picked up on vacation. You can ship it to me with instructions.

**Sizes and Shipping**
Rocks are heavy! Shipping may be costly at times. Rocks are too heavy to go into a padded envelope so they ship in small boxes only.
• Most dwellings are less than one pound. Small enough for indoor potted plants and under the one pound limit on small box.
• Larger dwellings have more detail and can be used on shelves, outdoor gardens or large potted plants. Unfortunately they are heavier and fall into the higher shipping costs.
• Purchase two or three! Watch shipping calculations on each item as some can be shipped economically when combined with other rocks.
• I am also offering sets which can fit inside a flat rate box for a low shipping price of $5.35 or $11.40, depending on sizes.
