I've never had a rooster loose in my kitchen, but one time a baby goat made it's way into our kitchen and ran around and around the table until the children shooed him outside!

I love the homespun look of this natural wood shelf. There are two holes for hanging. A cute rooster has been hand painted onto a triangle and nailed to the front. There is a crack on two of the corners where the tiny nails go through, but it feels very sturdy.

Marked "Woodpecker Wood Ware" on the backside and Hand painted Pat. Japan

Measures 11" long and about 2 1/2" high and 3" deep. Keep spices handy, small kitchen tools, or how about salt and pepper shakers (roosters of course!)?

Jars and scoop are not included.
