Pure beryl is a single mineral with many varieties - Emerald, Aquamarine and Morganite. Beryl has a color diversity and varieties. This pale green variety of beryl is not referred to as emerald, but simply as green beryl. Due to its good hardness (7.5 - 8 on Mohs scale), It is a gemstone suitable for all kinds of jewelry.
