From the Israel Museum in Jerusalem. The three postcards are souvenir postcards brought back from Israel in the 1970s. The costumes are beautiful and the drawings by Jean Besancenot are worth framing alone or as a trio. Known for his magnificent 1930s tribal photography the artist captured every detail imaginable.

These three 1973 postcards are themed in mostly red. The fashioned poses stand alone with no back round distractions.

The illustrations were compiled into a book dating 1990 two years before his death. ( 1902-1992 )
