Fine old American cookware, made in West Bend, Wisconsin! This is a heavy bottomed pan, large enough to make food for a crowd! Handles and the lid knob are still fine, and firmly attached, though aging. Designed in 1966, the Aristo-Craft line had rounded square bodies, with sauce pot handle attached at the corners. The bases are "3-ply construction luma-core and stainless steel for true low-heat waterless cooking." Handles are "flame guard safe grip" molded plastic, and Regal, which owns this line, now, still replaces the handles, since they came with a lifetime guarantee. The steel part of the pan lasts forever. The lid for this also fit a large skillet in the same line. This pot measures 11" across (13 1/2" with handles) and is about 8 1/2" tall, including the cool, flame-shaped lid knob. The lid can store upside down, in the pot; this configuration provides a flat surface, in case you need to stack something on top. This pot has been used, plenty, and shows it. There are no dings or dents, but there is scuffing, inside and out, and some light discoloration on the inside, bottom. A very well-made and handsome piece of cookware. Not as pretty as new, but a dependable, high performance, work horse, made in the USA.
