Straehle Cocker Spaniel named "Little Butch" - 1950 Mid Century Pottery Dog Figurine

This cute little cocker spaniel is named "Butch." He was made by the and modeled after a real-live dog owned by A.Straehle, whose name is impressed with copyright on the bottom of the piece. Butch was somewhat famous as his image, drawn by the owner/artist, was shown on magazine covers and story books.

Little "Butch" was produced from the spring of 1957 - the fall of 1959. He is decorated with a black and white high gloss glaze. A highly collectible mid-century figurine.

Size: Aprox 5" tall x 4.5" long x 3" wide

Butch is in very good condition with no cracks or chips.
