The 1930s and 40s were a great era for blouses, as evidenced by this wonderful pattern from around 1941.

This is a not-so-basic buttoned blouse, with the darling puffed sleeves of that era, a shoulder yoke, and an optional frill along the front placket. Lovely details from my favorite era. Plus: check out that fantastic tilt hat on the flower-print lady! (psst... I have a similar hat in my shop...)
