From our private collection of about 75 Santos. He is among 20 or so we'll be listing over the next months.

Made from Carved, Polychromed, Hard Wood, ostensible mahogany. From the 19th C.
Mostly intact paint in an Augustinian habit - apparently original - although there are possible signs of an earlier one.

We've attributed him to San Vicente Ferrar because of his wings, but these pieces were so individual, it's almost impossible to know what was in the carver's mind without clues from the hands.

One arm and side has been lost as well as the actual wings...I don't believe in restoring them.
Stands About 12" Tall

We'll miss them all but it's time...
