This very cute wall lamp's base is a ceramic gun inside a holster. It is the perfect lamp for a little boy's cowboy-themed bedroom! It looks hand-painted with wonderful colors and no chips or cracks that I can find. It has a small amount of the crackling found on many vintage ceramic pieces. I would imagine it was made in the 1960s.

This lamp is in perfect working condition. The cord appears to be original, but is in very good shape. It measures about 5' 9" long. The plug, which is pictured, is also in very good shape.

Unfortunately, there is no shade to go with the lamp. It takes a standard light bulb, however, and I imagine a suitable shade could be found! The lamp socket is very decorative, with an art-deco design. It's made out of a material that may not be bakelite, but has the same look. The socket is attached to the base by a metal piece.

The back of the base has a notch near the top, and I hung the lamp on a nail when I used it. The cord hides behind the base and comes out of the bottom of the holster, where there is also a notch to accomodate it.
