I have taken an antique Middletown quadrupleplate candleholder and added a common vintage hemingray clear glass insulator to create this beautiful and unusual one of a kind conversation piece. My research indicates the candleholder is made of "heavy white metal" (silver ?, pewter?) dating from the late 19th century. It was produced in Middletown, CT. and is marked Middletown quadruplate with a scale on the bottom. The insulator is marked Hemingray, USA. It is a perfect fit for the holder and has not been glued or fastened in any way.
Candleholder plus insulator measures 7" tall and 4" wide.
Candle not included.
