This Fyre-Fly pocket lighter was made in Youngstown, OH by the Signal-U Manufacturing company. Precision machined from solid aluminum, the Fyre-Fly is very similarly designed to Dunhill and Parker Service Lighters. It uses a windproof, semi-automatic firing mechanism: pushing its lever opens the snuffer cap and turns the spark wheel, igniting the wick. Flints and fuel are added from the bottom, with separate screw access for each chamber (photo #5). The fuel cap is marked with Signal-U's manufacturing information. Oddly, the screw driver groove on the cap cuts right through the factory engraved Fyre-Fly name.

This aluminum lighter is working and will be shipped with a flint and without fluid. (Please do not store this lighter with the flint though, as it will deteriorate and become impacted over time.) I've unblocked the flint chamber, brushed the afixed file wheel clean, installed a NOS Ronson wick, repacked the fuel chamber, and installed a new washer on the fuel cap screw to restore this lighter to working condition. This Fyre-Fly works pretty well, but the file wheel is a bit worn so it usesally tasks a few tries for it to light.. I've provided high quality photos to offer the best preview of this lighter's condition. Please take a look and feel free to ask any questions.
