In 1967, near Bluff Creek California, Rodger Patterson captured what has become the iconic Sasquatch film. Moments after the chance encounter, Patterson collected a small sample of hair that had collected on a nearby branch. He preserved it in a small spice jar where it remains today.

The jar itself is roughly 2.5 inches long by .5 inch wide and contains a small tuft of the mystery hair.
