This is a hand pulled original lino print of a dancing crow.

Crows are beautiful intelligent birds. They often get a bad press due to their penchant for carrion meat and subsequent association with death, but I've been reading up on the crow in myth and legend and they are often good omen. For example if you see a pair of crows on your wedding day it is a sign of an auspicious marriage. This is due to the fact that crows are very loyal and mate for life.

This print is a hand pulled lino print. I cut the image into lino, then use a roller to apply the printmaking ink onto the lino plate. Place it on my press bed, Ho Sho Japanese rice paper on top and pull it through the press. For each subsequent print I have to repeat this inking up process.
