Note--was $550.00. i don't have a small enough model to do this dress justice. It is absolutely gorgeous, so I have reduced the price.

This satin gown has a slinky, iconic silhouette; extra-long sleeves; a pooled, long train; dozens of covered buttons, a chic boat neck; an awesome matching rhinestone belt, upper arm openings, and a matching underskirt. The belt has channel stitching, ending in a larger area triangle, with a working rhinestone buckle.
The buckle measures about 2-1/2" each way with a working stop. The satin belt only has one button hole at this time (although a seamstress could enter another), but right now the belt measures 24-1/2" around. Excellent condition with the buckle missing only 3 stones (easily replaced)..
Awesome gown that must have been worn by a well-to-do woman of the era. It is the apex of 30s Hollywood glamour.

Brand: None listed
Material: Satin
Circa: '30s

Sizing (laid flat so double for measurement around):
across from armpit to armpit--17"
at bust: 16"
waist 26"
hip: 17-1/2"
length: 56" from front shoulder to front hem
length: 79" from back shoulder to end of train
shoulders: 12"
sleeves: 17" from underarm to shortest part of cuff; and then another 3" to the point.
underskirt waist measurement 12"
The dress goes on over your head with a series of snaps up the left side. There are also snaps below the buttons on the sleeves.
The train part of the skirt is lined with a darker color crepe (light butterscotch) to give contrast.

Issues: I did not have this dress dry-cleaned, and there are 2 areas on the back (in the train area) that appear to be a reddish color of mildew. There is also a bit of discoloration from being on the ground. These areas can really only be seen when the material is held up to the light,..but they are there. I assume they would be taken care of with dry cleaning.

This dress is SMALL. Please note the measurements carefully.

I know my price is low, but the dress is awfully small, and will need a dry cleaning. If you are a tiny woman...you will love this dress!
