Original c.1850 sixth-plate (1/6) daguerreotype of a gaunt
man dressed up in a burial suit and laid out on a mortician's
viewing table.

In a half-case that is 3.75" x 3.25".

Guaranteed to be a daguerreotype.

Kind of dark, but clearly visible. If you view it at the
right angle reflecting a dark background, the detail
and clarity really pops. There are three, short, diagonal
scratches or rub lines along the right side, two which
cross his face. No seals, but secure -not rattling or moving
under mat.

Shipping includes tracking and insurance.
