Offered is an early 1900's Edwardian era locket dating circa 1910. The front of the locket has a beautiful design that has a diamond shape in the center and then lovely scrolled designs around it. This is such a pretty piece. The inside has a photo of a woman on one side and a lock of hair on the other side. This adds a little history and extra sentiment to this locket. The back side has a fancy engraved monogram with the initials "ER". The metal is gold filled.

The locket measures 1 1/8" in diameter. There is an attached chain which came with it when I purchased it, so I am including it. The chain measures 22" in length.

The condition is very good. There is just normal and expected wear from use. There are no dings or problems. There is a secure closure and it still has a good snap when shutting. The chain is in nice condition and is sturdy. It has a spring ring clasp which is currently attached on the jump ring of the locket instead of at the back. This is a wonderful object of sentiment and a great token of affection. This locket would be a nice addition to your antique jewelry collection. Enjoy!
