This striking quilt is worked entirely in a large assortment of Asian fabrics, including some beautifully accented with metallic highlights, giving this a hint of a cloisonne appearance. The rich fabric in this piece includes Asian symbols, beautiful girls, exotic cranes and koi fish, bamboo leaves, fans, and gorgeous flowers. The quilt front is machine-pieced, with quilting also done by machine in a randomly geometric quilt-in-the-ditch method. The back of the quilt (also pictured) features bold red Asian symbols with smaller gold accents against a deep black background. The batting is 100% unbleached cotton, giving this piece a smooth feel. This quilt has been finished with the flip and stitch method (no binding), with a triple seam securing the edges, the detail on this is pictured above.

This piece measures 28" x 28".

The beautiful colors and metallic highlights in this unique quilt add warmth and sparkle to any space. This piece would look great displayed on a wall or table and makes a vivid and eye-catching conversation piece.

This piece may be washed on cold and dried on low-heat and has already been pre-washed for you. This was made in a smoke-free home. Our home is animal-friendly, but the studio where this was made is a pet-free zone.
