I bought this clock in Heidelberg Germany when I was in the military in 1984. I found it in a little antique shop.

This mantle clock is in v good condition. The chime works beautifully and chimes on the quarter hour, half hour, three quarter hour and the hour, at which time it then also gently bongs the hour. It is a calm, mellow chime, pleasing to hear. It is a key wind, lasts several days until needs rewinding. Original key included.

The wood cabinet appears to be veneer on top with a glossy real wood front panel. The convex glass face is framed in brass, opens easily with working brass hinge and clasp. Brass hands and Arabic numerals are on a white background ring.

The rear door opens to restart pendulum when necessary and to view chime mechanism.

Here is a strikingly similar clock presently on youtube that sounds v much the same as this clock. The face is the same also:

Measures 22.5" long x 5.5" deep x 8.5" tall
Weighs nearly 9 lbs.

The only flaw is a small finial missing on the right front as pictured.
