A box of vintage Communist cameras, straight from the good old USSR to you! Built with all the delicacy of a collective tractor, these Zenit 35mm cameras are solid pieces of metal. Your instant collection will include:

Top 2 photos --> Zenit EM with original black leather case (very cool). Some brassing on body and the leatherette is lifting slightly on the back. The Helios-44-2 58f2 lens is clean and clean. (These lenses are M42 mounts.) Shutter seems OK, aperture was a little sticky at first but improved with use. Blades look OK. Nice and clean inside. Meter appears to be functional. Marked "Made in USSR" on the bottom.

Middle photo --> Zenit-B. This camera looks very nice and the aperture is fine but I could not get the shutter to fire. The Helios-44 58f2 lens is clean and clear. Both lens and body are marked "Made in USSR."

Last 2 photos --> Zenit TTL. Nice camera. Shows very little wear, just some dust on the outside. The Helios-44-2 58f2 is clean and clear. Both shutter and aperture seem normal and smooth. The self-timer works. The battery compartment screw is worn and tricky to remove. There is some oxidation in the battery compartment but I cleaned the contacts and was able to check that the meter is working. Comes with original lens cap.

This is a hefty pile of cameras, hence the shipping. Nice chance to build up your collection, comrade!

I am helping to find new homes for two huge collections of vintage cameras. As a professional photographer myself, I am really enjoying getting to know some of these strange and wonderful pieces. The people who assembled these collections chose pieces in good shape and gently cleaned them with compressed air and a soft cloth. Many might benefit from your detailed attention but I’ve left them as is rather than risk damaging them in any way. While in most cases I will not be running film through them due to the sheer volume of cameras, I will check to see that the shutter fires, parts move if they are supposed to, and things appear to be as they should be. If I find any problems, I’ll list them in the description and suggest that the item be used only for display or repurposing However, due to their vintage nature, UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED, THESE ITEMS ARE SOLD “AS IS” WITH NO GUARANTEE OF WORKING ORDER AND NO RETURNS ACCEPTED UNLESS ITEM RECEIVED IS NOT AS DESCRIBED. Please convo me with any specific questions and I’ll do my best to get you the info.

SHIPPING: OMG, why is it so much???? I don't hide shipping costs in the item price. I want you to know who's getting the money! Canada is higher on postage than the US and the rate jumps severely as weight increases. BUYING MORE THAN ONE ITEM AT A TIME OFTEN SAVES YOU MONEY because I’ve become pretty handy at packing lots of stuff safely into a box. I do my best to keep your shipping costs at a minimum and, as always, once I do the calculations for your finished package, I gladly refund any shipping overpayment greater than $2. I am also happy to work with any International buyers who have a CONFIRMED PAYPAL ADDRESS– please contact me with your shipping address and I’ll give you a shipping cost.
