This gorgeous Bentwood Ring is made of Maple with an inlay of crushed Red Coral. It is in size 11.5 and is 10.3 mm wide.
Other sizes and widths are available.

Why should you choose a wooden ring? Probably the number one reason is metal allergies. As many as 10% of people have some form of metal allergies. It's also an environmentally and socially conscious choice. Mining metals and precious stones have created many environmental problems. All of my wood has been selected form approved sources. And then there is Style. There is something special about wood. The beautiful grain, patterns, and colors that occur naturally in the wood. The variety of species or wood types, each with their own character, and even the difference in type that can occur from one tree to the next. Then there's the feeling, and 'warmth' of wood.
.
Besides beautiful, these rings are functional and unbelievably tough. All my rings are handmade in the bentwood tradition. Bentwood rings start with a very thin strip of carefully selected wood that is steamed and wrapped around a form multiple times. Then, depending on the design additional strips are added, or groves cut to add inlays and all the unique details of each ring. The final shaping alone takes each ring through 8 levels of sanding, ending with 1500 grit. Once ready for the finish, each ring receives 12 to 20 coats of cyanoacrylate then is polished with 9 extremely fine grades of micromesh and a final polishing with an acrylic polish. Each ring is unique and with proper care will last for generations.

My rings are handmade, and I designed them to be worn every day. These are very light, yet durable wood rings, and they will last for a long time. While the method used to create them does make them surprisingly durable, they are not going to hold up like a metal band. Many of the same things that will damage your hands will damage the rings (metals, abrasives, chemicals) . As a result, they do require a little more awareness, I offer a one year warranty against defects in material or workmanship, including the finish. Abuse is not covered. If your ring does not maintain it's great looks within that time, simply return your ring to me, I will repair or replace, at my discretion, any ring at no charge.

Any of my rings listed here can be custom ordered in sizes from 4 to 14, including half sizes. Find a design you like, but wish it came in a different combination of woods or inlay? No problem! I love custom orders! Matched sets such as wedding rings are also available for order. The ring(s) you receive will be very similar to the one photographed, but please realize wood is a natural product and differences in wood grain or slight differences in stone inlay will affect the exact colors of your ring.
Please note; I have this style ring, in several other sizes, in stock, ready to ship. It can also be ordered in any size from 4 to 14. Custom order rings are normally ready to ship in 10 to 14 days.
