Light weight wool tweed coat in a zig zag patterned plaid of brown, chocolate, cream and orange. It's just a wee bit darker (and more richly colored) than these photos indicate. This coat was extremely well made and finely tailored in Great Britain. Dates to the late 1940s or more likely the early 1950s. Partially lined in olive green sharkskin taffeta with a pumpkin orange back. Inner straps are present in case you need to run out but don't feel like hassling with sleeves. Half cuffed sleeves and lightly padded shoulders.
Made in England

Inside pocket also reads Made In England with a rearing lion and unicorn.
I do not pin clothing on models, but prefer instead to show you my garments on people they actually fit. Heather's measurements at the time of this photo shoot were 45-35-45 and she stands 5'9" tall. This roomy garment should fit a variety of sizes.
-Shoulder to shoulder: 19"
-Bust: Up to 50" (less if you're wearing a suit underneath. Try taking your bust measurement over whatever you might like to wear under this coat)
-Hip: Up to 58"
-Sleeve length: 25.5"
-Length from shoulder to hem: 47"
Very Good condition rating a 9 out of 10. I can't tell if there are a few faint spots in the front or if it is simply part of the pattern. There is a snag or two to the tweed but this gem has been freshly dry cleaned and is ready to wear for years to come.
