This world map was purchased by Cardinal Stefano Borgia in Portugal in 1794 for his museum in Velletri, Italy. It is known as Tavolla di Velletri or Mappa Mundi Borgia. The map is oriented with south at the top. This reproduction was printed in Spain the 1920s. Black and white.

In excellent condition, The back is blank. It was folded in four but the lines will disappear once it is framed. Medium weight paper.

Size: approx. 12" by 10''

This map was published in the 1920s, it is not a new reproduction.
