Made with soft Italian glass, this art glass marble is a visual feast in miniature form. Deep inside, you will observe little sea urchin like flowers and a multitude of other hidden treasures. Incorporated into this exquisite marble, is plunged pieces of fine silver (.999) foil. A perfect bubble is encapsulated over each. The silver foil created a fuming effect, giving the edges a ghostly aura. You will see a small coil of pure copper plus many other interesting, intricate features. The ocean floor is composed of silvered ivory glass. On the bottom is small cave like cavern that you can actually peer into.

All of my marbles are annealed in a digitally controlled kiln. Annealing is the process of 'soaking' the marble at 960 degrees F, then slowly reducing the temperature over a period of about 8 hours. This relieves the stress inside of the marble produced from the heat of the flame. Marbles that have been annealed are stronger, chip resistant, and very rarely crack.

This marble is 1 1/4" in diameter.

Each marble is signed and dated. I send them in bubble wrap, gift wrapped and in an organza bag; also included is a free marble stand.

Made by myself in Alberta, Canada. (SRA; self representing artist #V22) Each of my marbles is exquisitely unique.

My marbles are meant to be collectibles and not for children. They are NOT toys. They are glass and I will not guarantee against breakage if used as an actual marble.
