This is a beautiful, hard-to-find casserole dish. It would make a wonderful addition to your collection. The dark brown, rosevine artwork is so detailed, and the splashes of hand-painted yellow, green, rose and blue are just right.

The dish is made by Nasco, Japan, from 1945-1952 in the "Rosevine" pattern. The pattern is printed on, while all the colored areas are swirled on by hand.

The dish is in excellent condition. There is a shallow chip on the inside of the lid and a few small flakes of glaze missing from the inside of the dish. The outside of the dish has no chips or cracks, just the normal crazing in the glaze that occurs over time.

Dish measures 11 1/2" wide from handle to handle and 5 1/2" tall.

**Buyers outside the US: Please contact me for an exact shipping cost. With larger or heavier items, it varies so much from location to location and I don't want to over (or under) charge you. I will respond with a price as quickly as possible, probably the next day. If you are very interested in the piece, at your request I will hold it for you until I can get you a quote.

Thank you for your interest!
