This beauty has been in my private collection for years, something I came across when I lived in Montana. It is time for it to be worn! Gross made amazing western wear, in the vein of H Bar C and other high end western clothing brands. This piece was custom made with tags stamped March 20, 1975 and size 12. The pant tags are marked 26 w.

This piece combines classic western detail with a touch of the 70's aesthetic- look at the size of those pant legs!- and a plaid that Ralph Lauren would eat hay for.

The fabric is a maroon or burgandy and black plaid with white stitching. The jacket is well fitted, and has classic western yokes and darts that have arrows stitched at the ends. Fully lined in an awesome patterned satin like a smoking jacket, two front hip pockets and an interior slant pocket. Sleeves have a button detail and a small half cuff detail. Back has a single central slit (so you can sit in your saddle comfortably!)

The pants are also a classic western design with side zip, oversize western belt loops, yoke back design, and scalloped overstitching on those AWESOME OVERSIZE PANT LEGS!

The suit was tailored for a petite woman, which is why it is offered for sale, too small for me to keep (I am heartbroken about this one!)
