Offering an outstanding estate discovery. A set of 10 bound leather books of Emersons Works by Ralph Waldo Emerson. Decorated & gilt leather spines, leather corners, full marbelized edges on all 3 sides, and an engraved print of Emerson in one book and marbelized end papers.

The last date of publication mentioned is 1888. Books have tight spines, leather spines and corners, & are all matching. Published by Houghton, Mifflin and Company Boston & The Riverside Press, Cambridge.

The leather pieces are lightly scuffed, the edges and corners of the covers are worn, some light discoloration and there is very pale minor foxing on some of the first title pages. 99% of the pages are clean. Overall the set is very strong. Smells fresh. Set weighs nearly 13 pounds.

Measures 7 3/8 inches x 5 1/8 inches x 1 1/2 inches.
