Check out this sweet vintage school wall map of Latin America that was manufactured by Rand McNally. All locations on the map are in both English and Spanish. Printed on a heavy paper material, the map comes with the original metal bracket which still works and is very easy to mount. Chart still rolls up and down fluidly and its original metal rod is attached firmly to the bottom of the map. Attached to the rod is a metal pull hook. This map would look great hanging in your library or study or would serve as a great educational work of art in your child's bedroom!

Additional details:

On the left side of the map are six smaller maps detailing Panama, Rio De Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Lima, Santiago, and Montevideo. Also, on the upper right corner of the map is a nice map of Puerto Rico.

Measurements (with bracket): Approximately 73.5" Long x 62” wide

Projection Type: Modified Orthographic Projection
Scale: 1:7,250,000
Circa: 1980's/Possibly Early 1990's

Item Condition: Wonderful vintage condition! Paper has no holes or tears. Has some normal wear due to years of use (i.e. wrinkles, bends, etc) but no rips or tears! Beige canvas material below map has some creasing. On the lower right hand side of the canvas, the canvas has begun to separate from the metal rod (about 3" or so) but it's not very visible. It took us a little while to get the bracket to snap in place once the map was pulled down, but we can confirm that once you have it locked in place it stays in place! You'll just have to be careful when you receive the map to ensure that as you work on getting it to locked in place that you are not pulling below the "STOP" text or you could risk tearing the map off the rod, and that wouldn't be fun at all. It's a very large map so we suggest having two people work together to pull it down. Just be sure to pull down with the metal pull tab. All in all a wonderful find!! Please take a gander at the pictures for further details.
