"Sisters' is a 6x8 signed archival print of my original watercolor painting of two sweet Victorian Orphan girls.

What's stronger than the bond between two sisters? Not much. Who else can you share all you deepest dreams and strongest fears? Share the love between two of the sweetest girls that you could ever meet.

Mary and Ruth, age 13 and 10, will do anything to stay together. After there parents died of the flu they have lived in home after home. But nothing seems to work out. No family has had room for both of them. They pray that that will soon change.Perhaps these two lovely girls can find a little space in your home?

Mary and Ruth are part of my Victorian Orphan series, "The Foundlings".

The original illustration was created by me (Debra Styer) with watercolor and gouache paints.

The artwork on this limited edition print is 6in X 8in and is printed on beautiful archival velvet fine art paper with archival inks.

The print will be shipped to you in a protective sleeve with extra backing in a sturdy flat mailing envelope.

The print includes a lovely antique white mat ready to pop into a 8 x 10 frame.

All prints are signed and numbered.

(Frame not included)

This is a limited edition print of 100.

About the Foundlings Series...

I have always been fascinated by the Victorian era. There are so many dark stories to be told. I am creating a series based on the history of the Foundling Hospitals in New City in the 1800's. The Foundling Hospital was created to help all the children that were abandoned due to hardship and extreme poverty. Some were adopted others became apprentices and learned to take care of themselves. They lived pretty harsh lives. Here are a few of their stories.
